Heightz International Foundation (HIF) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) incorporated in the UK in 2023 and is the brainchild and hearts work of Samuel Ampah, the Ghanian Fante Dancehall performing artist known professionally as Kahpun.

Kahpun came to the United Kingdom in 2022 to perform at Butetown Carnival in Wales and after falling in love with the country and the people he quickly identified that Wales was not only a beautiful country in which to complete his upcoming Album ‘The Dice’ but a nation that was emerging itself in valuing the Creative industries.

Kahpun valued the opportunity to travel and perform internationally and wanted to use his knowledge and experience to help other Creatives in his beloved Ghana who may not have the support of others to be able to navigate the many hurdles faced by emerging Creatives.

HIF provides practical advice, support, and mentoring to emerging and developing Creatives who wish to seek international exposure and opportunities in the UK and Europe.

Kahpun secures placements and performance opportunities in the UK across all media and performing platforms and matches Creatives who wish to take that next step on their journey in the Industry.

Help, support, practical solutions, and mentoring Ghana’s future Creatives are at the heart of everything that HIF does.

Identifying that Creatives are not made, they are born, Kahpun is also aware of the difficulties faced when young people who do not have access to resources such as educational and reference materials.

HIF has also embarked on an initiative to support schools in Ghana by donating books and other educational materials and is developing library resources for communities in Ghana.

Kahpun is determined to use his platform to create opportunities for Creatives within the Industry and is busy building a pathway from Ghana to Wales for those who are prepared to put in the work and follow the strapline of HIF - ‘Cash it in and
Pay it forward’.
